Ziering Medical featured in Bizjournals | California hair restoration practice to expand to South Florida

Aside from West Palm Beach, the practice’s other locations are in California, Connecticut, New
York and Utah.
An out-of-state medical practice that specializes in hair restoration will open itsfirst Sunshine State location in South Florida.
West Hollywood, California-based Ziering Medical signed a long-term lease for 3,404 square feet in Flagler Center, at 501 S. Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Move-in is slated for the first quarter of next year.
Jesse Spencer of Compass Real Estate represented the tenant, while Constance Thomas and David Thomas of Tower Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord, West Palm Beach-based Flagler Center Properties. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
It will mark Ziering Medical’s debut in South Florida. The practice’s other locations are in New York, West Hollywood, California; Greenwich, Connecticut; Murray, Utah.
A representative told the Business Journal Ziering Medical plans to employ 8-10 people in West Palm Beach, a mix of staff relocations and new local hires. The spokesperson said patients in South Florida will have access to Ziering Medical’s “full suite of surgical and non-surgical treatment options for both men and women.”
“I started my career in Florida more than 30 years ago, so this expansion feels very personal to me. The timing feels right, not only from a business perspective, but on a personal level as well,” Dr. Craig Ziering, founder and medical director, told the Business Journal. “We’re excited to create local jobs, build relationships and bring the same physician-led, highly personalized hair restoration patient experience that has defined Ziering Medical for decades.”
The practice’s new location will be located in Flagler Center, a waterfront office complex in downtown West Palm Beach that originally dates to the 1970s. It offers a total of 264,584 square feet of offices across multiple buildings, plus a 227,418- square-foot freestanding parking structure, all on 3.24 acres, according to the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser.
There’s been an uptick in the number of out-of-state medical practices expanding to South Florida in recent years, part of a broader influx of wealthy new residents and businesses to the tri-county region.
Aside from Ziering Medical, that also includes Well by Messer in Coral Gables, Princeton Longevity Center in Miami and Radence in West Palm Beach.
