How Much Does A Hair Transplant Cost?

Young man in a white polo shirt, looking directly at the camera with a thoughtful expression. He is running his hand through his hair, appearing slightly concerned or contemplative. The background is a textured white wall, adding contrast to the image. This photo captures a moment of introspection, highlighting the man's facial features and hairstyle. Ideal for discussions on personal grooming, self-care, or mental health awareness.

What determines graft count?

  • The amount of hair loss you have or the size of the area you want to restore
  • The quality and quantity of your available donor hair
  • Your existing hair density
  • Your desired hairline design
  • Whether this is your first transplant or a second surgery
  • How much donor hair can be safely harvested in one procedure

How many grafts will you need?

  • 500–1,000 grafts: Minor touch-ups or filling in the temples
  • 1,500–2,000 grafts: Rebuilding the hairline
  • 2,500–3,500 grafts: Hairline plus crown
  • 4,000+ grafts: Full restoration from front to back

These are only general ranges. Surgeons can’t give you an exact number until they’ve seen your scalp. During your consultation, they’ll assess your donor hair quality and design a plan that balances graft count with natural-looking results.
